Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist

It's difficult for some of us to decide to see a counselor.  A person might be functioning quite well to an outside observer, but in areas of his or her personal life might be feeling alone and isolated.   Many issues can cause emotional pain and distress, and

sometimes the stress is too much to cope

with alone. A trained professional can help.

Clients often seek out therapy when personal

attempts to solve a problem have not worked. Therapy

is a safe and supportive environment in which to explore

very personal concerns - concerns that may be difficult to share

even with those closest to you. A therapist can provide a different

kind of support than family and friends; a mental health professional will

listen objectively, not be judgmental, and help you to find your own solutions.

I use an integrative approach to my work with clients, which means that I individualize

treatment depending on my client's needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Psychodynamic approaches, Family Systems Therapy, and EMDR.

We are all unique, even if we share common problems. My role is to help you to feel better and to assist you to achieve your own personal goals.

I see individuals, adults and teens, couples, and families.
